An unanticipated outcome of the Covid-19 pandemic has been the unprecedented rise of virtual neurosurgery education. These free virtual conferences are a boon for all neurosurgeons, trainees, and students alike. One of the most important aspects is their open-access and collaborative nature. Below is a list of some of the most popular virtual conferences, many of which have grown to hundreds of participants in a few short weeks. Set your calendars for this week's exceptional lineup. Virtual Global Spine Conference The Virtual Global Spine Conference was one of the first collaborative conferences to start after the Covid-19 pandemic. Interest was unprecedented and within a few weeks, it has become immensely popular. It also served as a blueprint for organizing virtual conferences. The next installments are scheduled for Monday, April 27, 2020 at 10 AM ET featuring a presentation by Dr. Ali Baaj and Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 5 PM ET featuring two pioneers of MIS spine surgery, Dr. Roger Hartl and Dr. Juan Uribe.
