Cadaver cranial and spinal anatomy – 40 min
Burr holes, Kocher’s point, and approaches to craniotomy – 20 min
Endoscopy (camera positioning, practice) - 20 min
3rd and 4th years:
OR Prep (Order of operations, positioning, and mayfield) – 20 min
EVD (Use, placement, troubleshooting, and practice) – 30 min
Suturing (1 handed ties with silk ties, galea ties, spine closure) – 40 min
Crash course in Neuroradiology – 20 min
Cadaver cranial and spinal anatomy (overview of surgical approaches) – 30 min
Burr holes, Kocher’s point– 20 min
Endoscopy (camera positioning, practice) - 20 min
