About The Journal

Through this open-access and collaborative digital forum, we invite you to take an active role in upholding the mission of the Medical Student Neurosurgery Training Center in advancing neuroscience education. We post monthly articles curated from a wide array of contributors.

The mission of Brain & Spine Report is to:
  • Provide a unique international online environment for early career researchers, medical students, residents, faculty, and healthcare workers to discuss topics of interest pertaining to brain and spine health, research, and education.
  • Inspire the next generation of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and other practitioners in the clinical neurosciences to pursue their goals and provide information and education to realize them.
  • Equip early career researchers with the skills necessary to be scholarly productive in whatever field they choose.

We will consider manuscripts submitted to Brain & Spine Report which cover the following topics: Clinical Neuroscience, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Education and Training, Health Policy and Systems, Global Health, Socioeconomic Issues and Health Disparities, Ethics, Research and Scholarly Activity, Culture, History, Neurotechnology, and Robotics. Submissions are highly encouraged from anyone with interest or experience in these fields.

To contribute an article on a matter of interest to the brain and spine community, please submit your article via our submission portal.
